Ravinder Vasudeva unanimously elected President of the Dragon Boat District Una and Traditional Sports Association

Una (The Uttam Hindu): Elections for the Dragon Boat District Una and Traditional Sports Association were held at Hotel Gulmohar Grand under the chairmanship of Observer Youth Services and Sports Officer Prince Pathania. Senior Advocate Aman Rana served as Returning Officer and Krishna Kumar Kasana, State Vice President of the Dragon Boat Himachal Pradesh and Traditional Sports Association, served as Returning Officer.

Ravindra Vasudeva, a prominent social worker from the Haroli area of Una district, was unanimously elected President. Ravindra Vasudeva thanked Dr. Rajiv Kumar (IAS), State President of the Dragon Boat and Traditional Sports Association, for his appointment and stated that the District Mandi Association will continue to strive to strengthen and expand traditional sports in the state. Planned efforts will be made to connect youth and society with water sports and other traditional sports, promoting these important and culturally important sports. Ravindra Vasudeva, the newly appointed District President of the Dragon Boat District Una and Traditional Sports Association, stated that while traditional sports keep youth away from addiction, they also play a vital role in keeping our society united. Election Observer, Youth Services and Sports Officer Ravindra Vasudeva stated that Abhay Parashar, MD of Hotel Si Rokas, was elected Senior Vice President from Saraswati. Goldy Kondal, Mahendra Mankotia, Rakesh Kumar, and Shyam Murari were elected District Vice Presidents, Guru Bandan Sharma as District General Secretary, Gaurav Sharma, Advocate Hanish, Rashid Mohammad Sumesh Bhargava, and Aditya Sharma as District Secretaries, Balveer Singh as Treasurer, and Iresh Bali as District Media Incharge. Saurabh La, Parth Sharma, Rakesh Vatsa, Jasbir Singh Lucky, Armaan Agnihotri, Deepanshu Thakur, Harsh Thakur, Vishal Raizada, Deepak Kumar, and Rishi Sharma were elected as Executive Members of the District Association. He said that these appointments will be effective immediately. Present on the occasion were Bhagirath, athlete coach of the District Youth Self-Defense Department, Praveen Chaudhary, State Executive Member of the Dragon Boat Himachal Pradesh and Traditional Sports Association, and Meena Sharma.
