Shocking incident: Man throws boiling oil on five children after dispute while playing.

Unnao (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident has emerged from a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district, where a young man allegedly threw boiling oil on five children over a minor dispute. The incident occurred during a thirteenth-day ceremony in Hasanpur Dragpalkheda village when the children accidentally splashed water on him while playing. Enraged by this, the accused reportedly took a bucket of boiling oil from a nearby stall where puris were being fried and hurled it at the children.

The sudden attack created panic at the gathering as the children screamed in pain. The injured were immediately rushed to a hospital in Lucknow. The victims, aged between 10 and 14 years, suffered serious burn injuries, and two of them are reported to be in critical condition and undergoing intensive treatment.

The incident has created fear and anger among villagers. Following a complaint by the victims’ families, police have registered a case against the accused youth, who is currently absconding. Police teams are conducting raids to arrest him, and an investigation into the matter is underway.
