Shocking: Dispute over chicken turns deadly, uncle hacked to death by nephew

Chaibasa (The Uttam Hindu): A minor dispute over a chicken turned fatal in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district, where a 50-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by his nephew and others.

The victim, Damu Sinku, was attacked with an axe and sticks after an argument escalated in Serengsia village. He suffered serious head injuries and later died after being shifted between hospitals due to lack of proper facilities and transport.

Police have registered a murder case against the nephew and several others. Raids are underway to arrest the accused.
