“Thought They Were Suicides…”: Man Confesses to Disposing of Rape Victims' Bodies After 11 Years
Bengaluru (Uttam Hindu News): A horrifying news has come out from Karnataka's famous pilgrimage site Dharmasthala, which has created a sensation in the entire state. Here a former sanitation worker has come in front of the police and confessed a crime that will send shivers down anyone's spine. The man has claimed that he was forced to burn and dispose of the bodies of girls and women who were victims of rape from 1998 to 2014, i.e. for about 16 years.
After keeping this horrifying truth buried in his heart for almost 11 years, this man himself approached the police. He told that he was burning in the fire of remorse for decades and now he wants justice for those innocent victims whose bodies he had disposed of. The man has requested the police to keep his identity secret, after which the police have registered a case in the Dharmasthala police station after taking necessary permission from the court.
What the man told during interrogation is extremely horrifying. He said, "Initially I thought that these bodies were of people who had committed suicide or had drowned. But most of these bodies were of women and they did not even have clothes on their bodies." He further revealed that many women's bodies had clear marks of sexual assault and brutal violence, which showed that they were tortured mercilessly during the rape. After this shocking confession, the police are anticipating the exposure of a big and old criminal gang.
