New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Amid rising tensions in West Asia, India has intensified its diplomatic efforts while closely monitoring the evolving situation. The government is actively engaging with global partners to maintain regional stability and safeguard national interests.

A testing time for the world

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the current situation is challenging not only for India but for the entire world. He noted that India’s top leadership is in constant touch with multiple countries to handle the situation through diplomatic channels.

High-level talks underway

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, where concerns over the regional situation were raised. India continues to emphasize dialogue and cooperation to ease tensions.

Diplomacy shows results

According to the ministry, India’s diplomatic efforts have already yielded positive outcomes. Through coordination and dialogue, India successfully ensured the safe passage of two LPG vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, which is considered crucial for the country’s energy security.

Safety of Indians a priority

The government has reiterated that the safety of Indian citizens residing in Gulf countries remains its top priority. The Ministry of External Affairs and Indian embassies are maintaining close coordination to provide immediate assistance in case of any emergency.

Focus on energy security

India is also working on strategies to secure its energy needs. With a significant portion of oil and gas supplies passing through the Strait of Hormuz, maintaining stability in the region is of critical importance for the country.

Diplomatic engagement to continue

The government has made it clear that India will continue its engagement with various countries and stakeholders. It remains committed to finding diplomatic solutions, ensuring global peace and protecting its national interests.
