New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again raised serious questions on the Election Commission. This time the issue is about SIR i.e. 'Suspected Electoral Registration'. Rahul Gandhi has claimed that fake voting is taking place in the country and the Election Commission is silent on this.

During the press conference, Rahul Gandhi said that the foundation of the Indian constitution is votes. In such a situation, it is first necessary to see whether the right people are being allowed to vote or not. He alleged that fake voters have been added to the voter list and despite repeatedly asking for data from the Election Commission, no information was given to him.

In his presentation, Rahul claimed that the Maharashtra elections were stolen. He said that Congress lost the elections there, but there are serious questions behind the defeat. According to him, there are 40 lakh voters in Maharashtra who were added to the list mysteriously. A large number of voters were added within five months and no transparency was shown in this.

He said that the Election Commission should answer whether the voter list is correct or not. Rahul Gandhi also asked why the Election Commission is shying away from giving electronic data. He said that data was sought from the Commission but neither the data was given nor any answer.

Rahul says that after checking this voter list, shocking facts have come to light. Something has been written in front of the father's name of many people, the addresses of many houses have been shown as 'zero'. There are some addresses where 46 voters are registered at the same address. Not only this, he claimed that there are 11 thousand suspicious voters who have voted three times.

Rahul Gandhi said that it took a long time to know all this, but now it is necessary to stop this theft. He reiterated that this is not just a political issue but a question related to the foundation of democracy and the Election Commission will have to answer it.
