Truck driver lost his balance near Tangri bridge
This tragic incident occurred on the Tangri Bridge National Highway near Shahpur, just two kilometers from Ambala. According to preliminary information, dense fog enveloped the area on Monday morning, making visibility extremely low. The driver of a truck traveling from Delhi to Chandigarh lost control due to poor visibility. The uncontrolled truck overturned and simultaneously hit two passing bikes. The accident was so sudden and severe that the bikers had no chance to save themselves or recover.
The severity of the accident can be gauged from the fact that when highway police arrived at the scene after receiving information, they found two bodies severely crushed under the truck, while two others were lying on the side of the truck. Police immediately called in a crane and began a rescue operation to remove the truck. This horrific accident completely blocked the Delhi-Ambala National Highway, creating a traffic jam of approximately 10 kilometers. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded for hours, causing significant inconvenience to commuters. The local administration and police are present at the scene and efforts are underway to restore traffic by diverting it.
