Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): AAP National Media Incharge Anurag Dhanda has strongly reacted to the suicide case of senior IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar, alleging caste-based harassment and government negligence.

Dhanda accused the BJP government of creating an environment of discrimination against Dalit officers. “Dalit IPS officers are being harassed. What will happen to poor Dalits under BJP rule?” he questioned.

Calling for a fair judicial probe, Dhanda said, “There should be an impartial judicial inquiry into this entire matter.”

He further alleged that the BJP cannot tolerate Dalit officers rising to top positions, and that the Haryana government turned a blind eye, leaving the officer isolated.

Dhanda also linked the incident to a larger pattern, claiming, “BJP's ecosystem is behind both the insult to Chief Justice Gavai and the harassment of the IPS officer.”

Concluding his statement, Dhanda demanded strict action against all those found guilty after the investigation.
