Bus Driver's Epileptic Seizure Leads to Chaos: 1 Dead, 8 Vehicles Damaged

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): There was a commotion in East Delhi's Laxmi Nagar area on Monday morning when a speeding private bus lost control and rammed several vehicles on Vikas Marg. In this tragic accident, an auto driver waiting for a ride on the roadside died on the spot, while eight other vehicles were badly damaged.

According to the initial information received from the police, the accident happened in the morning when the 'Devi Bus' was going from Vikas Marg towards Jheel Khuranja. Suddenly the driver of the bus had an epileptic attack, due to which he lost control over the bus. After this, the uncontrolled bus hit the cars parked in the free parallel parking on the roadside and an auto rickshaw.

The auto driver who lost his life in the accident has been identified as Mohammad Him, a resident of Shaheed Nagar. He was waiting for passengers after parking his auto on the roadside when a speeding bus hit him.

As soon as the incident was reported, the local police reached the spot. The police took the bus driver into custody and admitted him to the hospital for treatment. A total of eight vehicles were damaged in this accident, including several cars and the auto rickshaw of the deceased. The police is investigating the matter further.
