BJP’s Bansal Survives Deadly Assault in Ludhiana, Sharp Weapons Used, Firing Reported

Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu)- There was a commotion in Gopal Nagar on Tibba Road when some youths attacked BJP leader Naman Bansal with sharp weapons. There is also a possibility of firing during this time, although it could not be clear who fired the bullet.

Naman told that he is the vice president of BJP youth. His shop is in Gopal Nagar. I had also received a threat 2 to 3 days ago. I had left the shop at night like everyday. At that time some youths were doing recce around the shop but I did not pay much attention. As soon as I went a little further, those youths stopped me and asked what is your name. When I told them my name, they said that you are lying about your name. Meanwhile, some youths came running on the road. They had sharp weapons in their hands, as soon as they came, they first slapped me and then attacked me with sharp weapons. After which he somehow saved his life by entering a shop. Naman has been admitted to the hospital. At present, the police is taking action regarding this matter.
