CM Mann attends rally after hospital discharge: Kejriwal also present in Moga; Minister Balbir says earn ₹1,000 daily by making health insurance cards
Moga (The Uttam Hindu): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday attended a public rally in Moga shortly after being discharged from hospital. The event was also attended by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, drawing a large crowd of supporters.
Addressing the gathering, CM Mann thanked people for their concern over his health and said he was recovering well. He stated that public service remains his top priority and assured that the Punjab government is fully committed to welfare schemes for common citizens.
During the rally, Health Minister Balbir Singh highlighted the state government’s health insurance initiative. He said that youth and eligible individuals can earn up to ₹1,000 per day by helping citizens register for health insurance cards. According to him, the scheme not only provides employment opportunities but also ensures healthcare coverage for poor and needy families.
Kejriwal, while addressing the rally, praised the Punjab government’s policies and said that welfare-driven governance can bring real change on the ground. He urged people to take full advantage of government schemes related to health, education, and employment.
