Jalandhar bids farewell to DC Himanshu Aggarwal, industrialists praises his development work
Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): Industrialists in the city have expressed heartfelt gratitude to outgoing Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal appreciating his impactful tenure marked by strong administrative leadership and development-focused initiatives. His contributions toward improving infrastructure and addressing public concerns were widely acknowledged.
During his tenure, Dr. Aggarwal played a crucial role in handling challenging situations such as floods ensuring timely relief and assistance to affected residents. He remained accessible to the public and actively worked on resolving key issues including infrastructure projects like the PAP Service Lane and the Lamba Pind–Hoshiarpur Road, along with concerns faced by the industrial sector.
His continuous engagement with the NHAI and efforts to enhance regional connectivity, including facilitating new flight services from Adampur Airport were seen as significant steps forward. The smooth conduct of elections under his leadership further highlighted his administrative efficiency.
Industrialists also praised his initiatives in promoting sports, supporting students and developing spaces like Burlton Park into a sports hub along with efforts toward city beautification.
