Washington (The Uttam Hindu): Donald Trump has issued a strong warning following the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, stating that any country supplying weapons to Tehran will face a steep 50 percent tariff on exports to the US. The announcement comes alongside claims of a new agreement under which Iran has accepted several key conditions proposed by Washington including halting uranium enrichment.

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump made it clear that no exemptions would be granted to countries found supporting Iran militarily. He emphasized that strict economic measures would be imposed potentially impacting global trade as goods from such countries would become significantly more expensive in the US market.
