Amritsar (The Uttam Hindu): Banned Khalistani outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and its chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu have once again attempted to disturb the peace in Punjab. In a fresh provocation, Pannu released an edited video allegedly showing pro-Khalistan slogans like “Khalistan Zindabad” and “Bhagwant Mann Murdabad” painted on walls of a Hindu temple, district court complex, and the Khalsa College in Amritsar.

The video, widely circulated on social media, appears to oppose Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s plan to hoist the national flag in the state, linking it to the ongoing land pooling schemes. In a shocking escalation, Pannu directly threatens to assassinate CM Mann in Faridkot, raising serious concerns among state and national security agencies.

In response, Punjab Police and intelligence units have launched a probe. Security has been tightened across sensitive locations, and the public has been urged to remain calm and avoid spreading or reacting to rumors or extremist propaganda.
