Majithia gets a big blow from the court, major decision announced

Mohali (The Uttam Hindu): Former minister Bikram Singh Majithia named by the Vigilance Department in a disproportionate assets case was scheduled to appear in court today. The jail administration presented Majithia via video conferencing.

The court extended Bikram Majithia's judicial custody and ordered him to be produced before the court again on October 4. The court also disposed of an application filed by Bikram Majithia's lawyers seeking a copy of the charge sheet.

Today, copies of the charge sheet were physically handed over to Majithia's lawyers. The number of charge sheets is estimated to be around 40,000, and Majithia's lawyers have brought an Innova car to transport them.
