Mann Government’s Historic Decision: Approval Granted for 110 Posts in Sports Medical Cadre, Recruitment Purely Based on Merit: Sherry Kalsi

Tarn Taran (The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi has lauded the historic decision of the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, under which 110 new posts have been approved in the ‘Sports Medical Cadre’ for the welfare of sportspersons.

Sherry Kalsi said this step proves that the AAP Government does not merely make promises but is taking concrete steps to improve the future of Punjab’s youth and athletes. He said that people of Tarn Taran have already decided to support the AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu after seeing the people-oriented agenda of the Mann Government.

Kalsi said that this farsighted decision of the Mann Government will strengthen the sports infrastructure of Punjab at the grassroots level. These 110 posts (including experts from Group A, B, and C) will provide a “medical shield” to sportspersons. This staff will help players with better treatment and faster recovery in case of injuries, and will scientifically assist them in improving their performance so that Punjab’s athletes can shine even brighter at national and international levels.

He further said that this decision is not only good news for athletes but also a major opportunity for educated medical and paramedical youth, as it opens the doors to 110 permanent government jobs. Referring to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Kalsi said that like the previous thousands of recruitments, these 110 appointments will also be made purely on the basis of merit. There is no place for bribery or recommendations (parchi system) in the AAP Government.

The Working President said that in the first phase, these medical teams will be deployed at 12 major sports centers including Patiala, Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana. He appealed to the people of Tarn Taran to strengthen the hands of the AAP Government for the development of their constituency and the bright future of their children. He said that voting for Harmeet Singh Sandhu on November 11 means guaranteeing the progress of Tarn Taran. The victory of Harmeet Sandhu will ensure that the youth and sportspersons of Tarn Taran also receive such facilities.
