Punjab IAS Association steps up Flood Relief Efforts with Additional ₹5 Lakh Contribution

Chandigrah(The Uttam Hindu): In a heartening display of solidarity, the Punjab State IAS Association has made an additional contribution of ₹5 lakh towards flood relief efforts in the state. This collective contribution has been deposited into the Chief Minister Rangla Punjab Fund, aimed at supporting ongoing relief and rehabilitation initiatives.

Earlier, all members of the Association had individually contributed one day's salary to the flood relief efforts, showcasing their commitment to the welfare of the people of Punjab. This latest contribution is a testament to the Association's continued dedication to supporting the recovery process.

The Punjab State IAS Association's efforts are part of a broader movement of support from various quarters, including IPS officers and AAP leaders, who have also pledged their contributions. The Association's gesture is expected to bring hope and relief to the affected communities, who are struggling to cope with the devastating impact of the floods.

Earlier today, Punjab PCS officers association announced to contribute Rs 2.51 lakh in the Chief Minister’s Chardi Kala mission to help flood victims.
