'Where Did Your Oath to Gutka Sahib Go?' CM Mann Slams Captain Amarinder Singh Over Majithia Support

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Former Punjab Chief Minister and BJP leader Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted today in support of Bikram Singh Majithia, who is lodged in Nabha jail. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has retaliated to this tweet. Captain tweeted that Captain Amarinder Singh has tweeted in support of Bikram Singh Majithia, in which he has written that Aam Aadmi Party is an alternative to political vendetta and ruthless repression. Punjab has never seen such a vile attack on democracy before, where critics of his misrule and corruption are being put under house arrest, false allegations are being made and silenced.

Targeting and harassing Bikram Singh Majithia is a shocking example of their inhuman strategy. I strongly condemn this political atrocity. In response to Captain's tweet, CM Bhagwant Mann taunted through a social media post and wrote that Captain Sahib, you are worried about the human rights of drug smugglers, when people's sons were dying in agony under the rule of your nephew, you were sitting in the mehfils, now Punjab has come to know about your double-faced faces, but it is sad that after losing everything, BJP will now wash its hands off your statement by calling it a personal opinion, where did the oath of Gutka Sahib go. After this post, the politics of Punjab has heated up.
