The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting stated that the BCCI has decided to remove Bangladesh cricketer Mustafizur Rahman from the Kolkata Knight Riders team for the IPL, which begins March 26. There was no sound or logical reason behind this decision. This decision is insulting, unfortunate, and condemnable to the people of Bangladesh.

In such a situation, instructions are given to stop the promotion, broadcasting and rebroadcasting of all IPL matches until further instructions. The case of Bangladesh's star fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman is related to this strict decision. In fact, on the instructions of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have released Mustafizur Rahman from their team for the upcoming season.
