Los Angeles Knight Riders Crash Out of MLC 2025 Playoffs After MI New York Defeat

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): MI New York won the 27th match of Major League Cricket-2025 (MLC). The team won by six runs against Los Angeles Knight Riders in Florida. With this defeat, the Knight Riders are out of the playoff race.

Los Angeles Knight Riders have won only one match out of nine this season. The team is at the bottom of the points table, while MI New York has won three out of nine matches. This team, which is at the fourth position in the points table, still has a chance to reach the playoffs.

MI New York, who came to bat first after losing the toss, scored 142 runs for the loss of nine wickets. For the team, Kieron Pollard scored 50 runs in 36 balls with the help of four sixes and one four. Apart from him, captain Nicholas Pooran played an innings of 30 runs in 24 balls.

From the opposition team, Shadley van Schalkwyk took the maximum of three wickets, while Jason Holder and Corne Dry got two wickets each. Sunil Narine took one wicket.

For MI New York, Nostush Kenjige and Kieron Pollard took one wicket each.
