Premananda Maharaj shares wisdom with Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma: 'Do this to move ahead in life'

Vrindavan (The Uttam Hindu) : Indian cricket team's legendary batsman Virat Kohli, along with his wife Anushka Sharma, visited Saint Premanand Maharaj at Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj at Varaha Ghat in Vrindavan on Tuesday. During the meeting, Premanand Maharaj held a spiritual discussion with Virat and Anushka.

Videos and photos of this meeting are going viral on social media. In the video, Kohli and Anushka are seen immersed in devotion. Anushka listens emotionally as Premananda Maharaj delivers a sermon.

Premananda Maharaj said, "Consider your work as service, live sincerely, be humble, and practice chanting the name of God. There must be a deep desire to catch a glimpse of God. There must be a longing to see Him. One must realize that all the happiness of the world has already been achieved, and now one only needs to desire God, and once that is done, all happiness comes to His feet." Virat Kohli was listening attentively to Premananda Maharaj. Anushka said, "We are yours, Maharaj Ji."

To this, Premanand Maharaj said, "We all belong to Shri Ji. We live under his divine protection. We are all his children." Virat Kohli, along with his wife Anushka Sharma, frequently visits Premanand Maharaj. This was their third visit in 2025. Previously, they visited Vrindavan with their children in January. They also visited Premanand Maharaj in May. Virat Kohli has retired from Test and T20 cricket. His focus is now on ODI cricket. Virat's next target is the 2027 ODI World Cup. He was named Player of the Series in the recently concluded ODI series against South Africa, scoring two centuries and one half-century in three matches. Anushka is currently away from films and focusing on her children.
