UP dominates Elite Group B
The Vijay Hazare Trophy features 38 teams, divided into four Elite Groups and one Plate Group. Rinku Singh’s Uttar Pradesh side is part of Elite Group B, which includes strong teams such as Vidarbha, Bengal, Baroda, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh. Rinku has outperformed not only the captains in his group but also captains across all other groups. Under his leadership, UP has won all four matches so far, remaining the only unbeaten team in its group.
