Tragic Mystery: Three AC Mechanics Found Dead in Locked Delhi House, One Critical
New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): In a chilling incident on Saturday morning, the bodies of three young men were discovered inside a locked house in Delhi’s Southpuri area. The shocking find has plunged the neighborhood into mourning and raised serious questions about the cause of death.
Police rushed to the scene after a youth, identified as Imran, called authorities, saying his brother wasn’t answering calls and he feared something had gone wrong. When officers arrived, they found the house locked from the inside. After forcing the door open, they discovered four men lying unconscious on the first floor.
All four were rushed to the hospital, where three — identified as Imran alias Salman, Mohsin, and another youth — were declared dead. The fourth is still receiving treatment. According to police, the men worked as AC mechanics and shared a one-bedroom apartment.
Initial investigations revealed no signs of forced entry or struggle, reducing the likelihood of foul play. Police suspect the deaths might have resulted from suffocation, as the room had no ventilation. Forensic teams and crime branch officials are conducting a detailed examination.
Neighbors reported that the men had dinner together on Friday night after returning from work on a major project. They went to sleep as usual, but by morning, tragedy had struck. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and police have assured the victims’ families that the mystery will be solved swiftly. If negligence or criminal activity is uncovered, strict action will follow.
