New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The month of June is about to start and with this many rules are likely to change. These changes can have a direct impact on your pocket. Next month, changes can be seen in the rules related to bank FD and credit card. Apart from this, EPFO 3.0 is being launched by EPFO and the prices of LPG cylinders may also change. Let us know about these changes in detail:

Changes in credit card rules

Kotak Mahindra Bank has made a big change in the rules related to its credit card. These new rules will come into effect from June 1, 2025. These changes are mainly related to rewards points, cashback and other charges on credit cards. According to media reports, credit card users may have to face a certain limit to get rewards.

FD rates may change

Next month, banks may change their fixed deposit (FD) and loan interest rates again. The main reason for this is that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will announce the new repo rate in June. It is being estimated that the Reserve Bank may further cut the repo rate, which may affect the interest rates of both loans and FDs.

EPFO 3.0 will be launched

The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is going to launch EPFO 3.0 in June. The main objective of this new version is to provide even more convenient services to the beneficiaries. Through EPFO 3.0, facilities like withdrawing money from ATM and updating PF related data will be improved.

Change in LPG cylinder price

On the first of every month, gas agencies revise the prices of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders. However, last year there was no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. Earlier this month, the prices of commercial cylinders were reduced by up to Rs 17, so it is expected that the prices of both domestic and commercial cylinders may change in June as well.
