Fire Ravages Punjab and Haryana High Court, Estimated Loss Rs 35 Lakh
Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Information is coming out about a fire in the premises of Punjab and Haryana High Court. According to the information, the ladies bar room and room number 4 were completely burnt to ashes due to the fire. As soon as the information was received, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and the fire was brought under control.
A part of the main bar room was also damaged due to the fire. In a statement issued by the High Court Bar Association, it was told that the estimated loss in this fire is about 35 lakhs. The association said, "We have to inform our members with deep regret that an unfortunate fire incident has taken place in the High Court premises early this morning, due to which the Ladies Bar Room and Room No. 4 have been completely burnt. Also, a part of the main bar room has been affected by the fire." However, it is not yet known how the fire started. The association also said that necessary steps are being taken to repair and rebuild the affected areas. Financial support has been required for this.
