Punjab Govt's game-changer: Faceless RTO services launched, get ready for hassle-free Transport services from home!
Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu): The Punjab government has launched faceless RTO services, providing significant relief to the state's residents. Under this system, residents will no longer have to make frequent trips to offices for driving licenses, vehicle registration, transfers, permits, or other transport department-related services. These services were launched in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, and other senior AAP leaders.
People's problems will end, the system will become transparent
CM Bhagwant Mann said that the objective of the faceless RTO system is to increase transparency, eliminate corruption, and save citizens' time. Now, anyone can get a license, register a vehicle, or apply for other services from the comfort of their home using their mobile or computer. He said that this initiative is a major step towards the Punjab government's "e-governance model," which will provide real convenience to the general public.
