Jhajjar (The Uttam Hindu): 'IIT waale Baba', Abhay Singh, who became an internet sensation overnight during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh with his sannyasi attire and fluent speech, has now started a new life. Abhay, who claimed to be on the path of spirituality, has suddenly entered into married life. He has chosen a female engineer from Karnataka as his life partner. After marriage, when this newlywed couple reached their ancestral village in Haryana for the first time, there was a queue of people to see them and take selfies with them.

They got married in a temple on Mahashivratri and then had a court marriage

After garnering considerable attention at the Maha Kumbh, Abhay Singh suddenly arrived in Haryana's Jhajjar tehsil on Monday with his wife Preetika. There, he visited his father Karan Singh's legal chambers and sought his blessings. Abhay's father is a former president of the Jhajjar Bar Association. Speaking to the media, Abhay revealed the secret of his marriage, saying that he and Preetika had taken seven vows at the Aghanjar Mahadev Temple in Himachal Pradesh on February 15th, the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. Subsequently, on February 19th, the two legally married in court. Preetika, a resident of Bengaluru, is an engineer by profession and they first met about a year ago.

The goal was to establish Sanatan University

Preetika, who arrived in Jhajjar with her husband, expressed her happiness about her new life. She said that Abhay is a very simple, truthful, and honest person. This newlywed couple, deeply interested in spirituality, has now set a big goal for the future. According to Preetika, they will work together to promote Sanatan Dharma. Abhay said that they are working on a project to establish a Sanatan University called 'Shri University'. The main objective of this university will be to bring together seekers and gurus from all over the world. Here, students will be taught spiritual practice along with bookish and worldly knowledge.

There was a crowd of selfie takers in the tehsil

Abhay looked delighted sitting in his father's chamber. Recalling old memories, he shared that during his student days, he would often come here to review legal case files. The primary reason for his visit to Jhajjar this time was to update his bank account's KYC and seek his parents' blessings. Abhay, who professes to eschew worldly temptations, currently lives in Himachal Pradesh with his wife. As soon as people learned that the IIT Baba, who went viral on social media, had come to the tehsil, a large crowd gathered outside the chamber, jostling for photos and selfies with him. However, there has been no immediate reaction from his family regarding Abhay's sudden decision and marriage.
