Bill Gates admits past affair, apologises to staff amid Epstein claims

Washington (The Uttam Hindu) – Global industrialist and philanthropist Bill Gates is once again in the news over the controversy surrounding the late financial criminal Jeffrey Epstein. Amid the controversy that escalated after recently declassified documents, Gates apologized to his foundation's employees in an internal meeting, admitting that his association with Epstein was a "big mistake."


Bill Gates has publicly apologized to the employees of his organization, the Bill Gates Foundation, saying that he made a big mistake. According to sources, in an internal town hall meeting, while answering questions about his past relationships, Gates admitted that spending time with Epstein and introducing him to senior officials of the foundation was a "big mistake." He said that this decision caused people in the organization to face an uncomfortable situation, for which he takes responsibility. During the meeting, Gates also admitted that he had personal relationships with two Russian women, who have been mentioned in recent documents. However, he clarified that these relationships had no connection to the criminal cases related to Epstein or the victims.


'I didn't do anything illegal': Bill Gates

The controversy resurfaced when US Justice Department documents and photographs were made public, detailing several meetings between Gates and Epstein. Some of the photographs showed Gates with women whose identities have been kept confidential. According to an India Today report, during a town hall meeting, Bill Gates also admitted to having two personal relationships with Russian women mentioned in the files. However, he told employees, "I didn't do anything illegal or witness anything like that."
