Trump Blasts Wall Street Journal, Threatens Lawsuit Over Alleged Letter to Epstein
Washington (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump has threatened to sue The Wall Street Journal for publishing a report on an alleged obscene letter that Trump wrote to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 on his 50th birthday, which contained an objectionable photo of a woman.
The Wall Street Journal says it has reviewed the letter but has not published any photos. US President Trump raised questions about the clarification of the Wall Street Journal and wrote on the social media platform Truth, "The Wall Street Journal published a fake letter written to Epstein in my name. These are not my words, nor do I speak like this, and I do not make pictures. I told Rupert Murdoch that this is a false story, yet he published it. Now I will sue him and his newspaper." This controversy regarding Trump and Epstein has come to the fore at a time when political tensions are already at their peak over the Trump administration's attitude towards Epstein's sexual abuse case.
US President Donald Trump on Thursday released a statement on the social media platform Truth about the Jeffrey Epstein case. He directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to make public all relevant grand jury testimony related to the case, subject to court approval. Trump called the case a 'scam run by the Democrats' and demanded an immediate end to it. The President wrote on the social media platform Truth, "In view of the uproar over Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to present all necessary grand jury testimony, subject to court approval. This scam run by the Democrats must stop now."
