Washington (The Uttam Hindu) : Despite the recently announced two-week temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran, tensions are rising. US President Donald Trump has issued a strong message to Iran, warning that if the agreement is broken, the US will take even more forceful action.

Trump stated from the White House that US troops, ships, and weapons would remain deployed around Iran until the actual agreement was fully implemented. He reiterated that the US would not allow Iran to develop a nuclear bomb at any cost and that completely halting Iran's nuclear program was his priority.

The United States has also clarified its strategy regarding the security of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump stated that this vital sea route will remain open and secure under all circumstances. The US Navy will remain present there to ensure that oil supplies are not disrupted. He warned that any Iranian control of this route will not be acceptable for the safety of the global economy.

Trump further stated that the US military is fully prepared and awaiting further action. He advised Iran to seize this diplomatic opportunity, as America's patience is limited.

This statement comes at a time when a ceasefire has come into effect between the two countries, but differences over the terms remain. Analysts say Trump's strong message is part of a strategy to increase pressure on Iran and maintain US dominance in the region.
