Delhi Police Uncover International Honey Trap Racket Linked to Pakistani Intelligence Agency

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A spying racket which was operating in Delhi and Rajasthan's Deeng district has been busted by a special cell of Delhi police in a significant operation. The racket was allegedly linked to Pakistni Intelligence Agency ISI and was using foreighn girls, including Pakistani minor for luring high profile individuals into honey traps.

 

Key Arrests and Details

1. Mohammad Qasim and his brother Mohammad Haseen, the masterminds behind the racket, were arrested along with six girls.

2. The girls were using dating apps and internet media to trap targets, including a doctor from whom they extorted Rs 9 lakh.

3. Over 12 high-profile individuals in Delhi were victimized by the racket in the last five years.

4. Central intelligence agencies have increased vigilance due to possible involvement of terrorist and separatist organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir.

Investigation Findings

1. Delhi Police found that the girls were collecting sensitive data from hidden cameras to blackmail their targets.

2. A total of 320 girls were caught in police action from January to May this year, including 85 foreigners from countries like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh,   and Pakistan.

  Recent cases include 

  Anand Vihar Spa Racket: 14 girls, including three Bangladeshis, were caught using dating apps to honey trap customers.

  South Delhi Resort: Six African women were arrested for running a honey trap racket in connivance with a sex mafia.

  Mahipalpur Hotel: Three Kazakhstani women were arrested for luring influential people through internet media profiles and blackmailing them.

National Security Implications

1. The honey trap racket poses a significant threat to national security, with potential involvement of terrorist and separatist organizations.

2. Intelligence agencies are working to identify more victims and prevent further breaches.
