Neighbor filmed bathroom videos of woman and her daughters, entered home despite her objections

Lucknow (The Uttam Hindu): A shameful and horrific incident has come to light from the Chinhat area of ​​Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, where a young man has been accused of harassing his neighbor and her daughters for months. The accused not only made lewd comments about the woman and her daughters, but also made videos of them going to the bathroom and drying their undergarments and showed them to his friends. When the victim protested, the accused, along with his family, entered their house and assaulted them.

The victim, a resident of the Chinhat area, stated in her complaint to the police that her neighbor Sharif frequently passed lewd comments and made obscene gestures at her and her daughters. It is alleged that the accused would even walk around naked in front of the victim on the terrace. According to the victim, Sharif had installed hidden cameras in places where he would film the woman and her daughters going to the bathroom and taking videos of their undergarments. He would then show these videos to his friends on his mobile phone and defame them.

The victim alleges that when she protested these heinous acts, the accused, Sharif, assaulted her. She reported the incident to the police, but she alleges no action was taken at the time. Police inaction emboldened the accused, who, along with other women from his family, entered the victim's home again and assaulted the entire family.

This time, the victim again appealed to the police and filed a written complaint. Following her complaint of continued harassment and assault, Chinhat police have registered a case against the accused, Sharif. Police say the matter is being investigated and further action will be taken soon.
