'Terrorist Lakhvi Became a Father while in Jail', Owaisi again Exposed Pakistan's Double Character
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): India is expressing its stand against terrorism and the success of 'Operation Sindoor' to the world. Seven all-party delegations are visiting different countries and exposing Pakistan which is giving shelter to terrorists. In this episode, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly targeted Pakistan.
Owaisi exposed Pakistan's double standards and said that a notorious terrorist became a father while being held in a Pakistani jail. Owaisi is a part of the all-party parliamentary delegation which is currently in Algeria. Addressing the Indian community on Saturday, he said, there is a terrorist named Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi. No country in the world will allow a terrorist facing charges of terrorism to come out of jail, but he became the father of a son while sitting in jail.
During this time, Owaisi also insisted on putting Pakistan back in the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). He said that if Pakistan is put back in the grey list of FATF, then terrorist incidents in India will decrease. Let us tell you that FATF is an independent inter-governmental body that develops and promotes policies to prevent the use of the global financial system for terrorist funding and money laundering activities.
The AIMIM chief said that terrorism is no longer a South Asian issue. We are the fourth largest economy in the world. What will happen if the situation remains like this? Do you want the devastation to spread to other parts of South Asia as well?
Addressing Algerian media, think tank members and Indian expatriates, Owaisi said there is no ideological difference between terrorist groups Daesh and al-Qaeda in Pakistan. Pakistan is the centre of Takfirism. They believe they have religious sanction, which is completely wrong. Islam does not allow killing of any person and unfortunately, that is their ideology.
