In the case of famous Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, the Mumbai Crime Branch says that preliminary investigation has confirmed that the WhatsApp voice note is that of Harry Boxer, however the Crime Branch is busy collecting other evidence related to this. For confirmation, the Crime Branch has sent the WhatsApp voice note for forensic analysis and its report is yet to come. First, firing incident was carried out at Rohit Shetty's house and then the actor was targeted to intimidate and extort money.
The actor was not directly threatened, but a demand for money was made through a voice note on his manager's phone, following which Ranveer Singh's security has been increased. To thoroughly investigate the matter and gather important clues, the Mumbai Crime Branch recorded the actor's manager's statement three days ago and is trying to trace the VPN network used to send the threat, which is located outside the country. Interpol's help is being sought to get accurate location information. With Interpol's help, it will be easier to know the actual location of the sender of the message.
It's worth noting that the Mumbai Crime Branch has also recorded the statement of Salman Khan's brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma's manager. The Mumbai Crime Branch believes that the firing at Rohit Shetty's house and the subsequent threat to Ranveer Singh are linked. Both Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh are considered close in the industry and have worked together in films.
