Vishakhapattanam (The Uttam Hindu): A horrifying incident has unfolded in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where a domestic dispute took a horrific turn. According to police, a daughter-in-law, in a playful act, tied her mother-in-law to a chair, blindfolded her, and burned her alive. No other family members were present at the time of the incident. It is reported that there had been family tension between the two for some time.

According to sources, the accused daughter-in-law first made her mother-in-law sit on a chair under the pretext of "playing a game," and then tied her hands and feet. She then blindfolded her, poured kerosene on her, and set her on fire. When her granddaughter arrived at the scene after hearing her mother-in-law's screams, she tried to save her, but she too was severely burned. Neighbors, hearing the smoke and screams, alerted the police.

Police arrived at the scene, arrested the accused daughter-in-law, and launched an investigation. The body has been sent for a postmortem examination. Preliminary investigations have revealed a property dispute between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, which is believed to be the primary reason for this incident.
