Bihar NDA seat-sharing finalised: BJP, JDU to contest 101 seats each
Patna (The Uttam Hindu) – The bugle has been sounded for the Bihar Assembly elections. The NDA alliance has finalized a seat-sharing formula. Under the seat-sharing arrangement, the JDU and BJP will contest 101 seats each. Chirag Paswan's party has been allocated 29 seats. Furthermore, Jitan Ram Manjhi and Upendra Kushwaha's parties have been allocated six seats each.
Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) President Chirag Paswan posted on the social media platform 'X' saying that we, the NDA family, have completed the seat sharing for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections in a cordial atmosphere. BJP and JDU got 101 seats each, while LJP got 29, RLM and HAM got 6 seats each. He further said that Bihar is ready, NDA government again, this time with full force, with Bihar First, Bihari First. Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) President Upendra Kushwaha wrote on 'X', “We, NDA colleagues, have completed the seat sharing in a cordial atmosphere after sitting together. Workers and leaders of all NDA parties happily welcome this unanimous decision. Bihar is ready, NDA government again.
JDU National Executive President Sanjay Kumar Jha posted on the social media platform "X" stating that "we, NDA allies, have completed the seat-sharing arrangement in a cordial atmosphere. Leaders and workers from all NDA parties joyfully welcome the seat-sharing arrangement and are united and determined to re-elect Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister with a resounding majority. Bihar is ready, NDA government again." BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde posted on "X" stating that the united and dedicated NDA... For the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, all members of the NDA family have completed the seat-sharing arrangement in a cordial atmosphere and by mutual consent. The seat-sharing arrangement is as follows: BJP has 101 seats, JDU has 101 seats, LJP (Ram Vilas) has 29 seats, RLSP has 06 seats, and HAM has 06 seats. He further stated that leaders and workers from all NDA parties have joyfully welcomed this decision. All allies have geared up and are determined to re-establish the NDA government in Bihar.
