New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with students from various states in the second episode of "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026." Meanwhile, two brothers from Gujarat, Avi and Jai, were part of "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026." During the introduction of the students, PM Modi's face lit up upon hearing their names. He hugged student Jai.

In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the brothers, Avi and Jai, in 2022. When they arrived at "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026" and met with PM Modi, the atmosphere became pleasant. He reminded them that they had met with him before.

Prime Minister Modi said, "Jai and Avi, you have grown so much. You told the other students how familiar you are with me." PM Modi asked the other students if they had gained courage now. The other students replied in the affirmative.

Following this, Prime Minister Modi began a question-and-answer session with students from Gujarat during "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026." He held extensive discussions with tribal students on education, stress management, career options, and the contribution of tribal communities to nation-building.

The students (including those from tribal areas) welcomed the Prime Minister in their local language and expressed their joy at seeing him wearing a jacket with their traditional folk art. One student told PM Modi, “Sir, we are very excited to meet you. Everyone wants to meet and talk to you at least once, and we are honored to have this opportunity today.”

A student asked the Prime Minister about his motivation behind working for the development of tribal areas in Gujarat. Responding to this question, PM Modi recounted his experiences during the Pal-Chitaria incident and the challenges faced by tribal communities.

He said, "The independence of the tribal community was a significant event and involved a lot of struggle. There was a terrible famine once, and I spent a lot of time working there. This made me understand the importance of focusing on education, and when I became Chief Minister, I knew it had to be addressed."

He said, "You will be surprised to know that there was no science school from Umargaon to Ambaji. Now, many educational institutions are providing maximum benefits to the students." PM Modi said that education is very important for development and strong infrastructure is the foundation of long-term growth.
