The 66-year-old leader lost his life in a tragic aircraft accident in Baramati on Wednesday. After the incident, the Maharashtra government announced three days of state mourning as a mark of respect.
During the mourning period, the national flag will be flown at half-mast across the state, and all official entertainment programs will remain suspended.
