Two-year-old boy found dead in sack, neighbor who once threatened family arrested

A two-year-old boy was found dead inside a sack in Bihar’s Sheohar district. Police arrested a neighbor who had earlier threatened to destroy the family lineage.

Sheohar (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident has come to light from Tajpur village under the Nagar police station area of Sheohar district, where a two-year-old child was brutally strangled to death allegedly due to an old dispute. In a horrifying act, the body of the toddler was stuffed into a sack and hidden. The deceased has been identified as Sujit Kumar, the two-year-old son of Arun Sah, a resident of Tajpur village. Police have taken swift action and arrested the accused woman. The incident has left the entire area in shock and mourning.

Threatened to end the family lineage a month ago

According to reports, the roots of the murder lie in an old enmity. It is said that about a month ago a heated dispute took place between the child’s family and their neighbor Parvati Devi. During the argument, Parvati Devi allegedly threatened to “wipe out the family lineage” of Arun Sah. Arun Sah works as a laborer in Dimapur, Assam, to support his family, and the crime was allegedly carried out in his absence.

Child went missing while playing, body found in neighbor’s house

On Friday afternoon, little Sujit was playing outside his house when he suddenly went missing. The family searched for him but when they could not find the child, they informed the Nagar police station. Police immediately began a search operation. During the investigation, officers searched the neighbor’s house on suspicion and recovered the child’s body stuffed inside a sack. The discovery left the family devastated.

Accused woman arrested, confesses to crime

Soon after the body was recovered, police arrested the accused neighbor Parvati Devi. During interrogation, she reportedly confessed to the crime. The Superintendent of Police said the child’s body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem examination and further legal action is underway. The incident has deeply shaken the entire village.
