AAP has replaced Rule of Law with Gangster Raj in Punjab: Jaiveer Shergill
Jalandhar(The Uttam Hindu): BJP National Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill said that it is yet another day, yet another murder in Punjab. An Aam Aadmi Party leader was shot dead outside a gurdwara in Jalandhar, once again exposing the complete collapse of law and order under the AAP government.
He said, “Murders and extortion have become routine in Punjab. Under the AAP regime, law and order has turned into a toy in the hands of criminals and gangsters. Instead of delivering development, AAP has converted Punjab into a playground for gangsters.”
Shergill said that singers, businessmen, politicians, salaried employees, kabaddi players every section of society has become an easy target of organized crime.
He added, “The police machinery is busy silencing the media, slapping false and fabricated cases on political opponents, intimidating critics, and providing a security shield to Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leaders, while ordinary Punjabis have been left at the mercy of gangsters.”
Shergill said crime has surged sharply since AAP came to power because the government has sent a clear message of political patronage, weak policing, selective action, and zero accountability.
He said, “Gangsters and criminals are emboldened because they see a confused, directionless, and politically compromised government. When criminals are not punished swiftly, police morale is crushed, and investigations are hijacked by political interference, crime inevitably flourishes.”
He said AAP’s hollow slogans of ‘change’ have delivered nothing but fear, chaos, and lawlessness to Punjab.
Shergill said, “AAP has left no stone unturned in pushing Punjab back into a dark era. Today, Punjab is not under people’s rule but under gangster rule. The time has come to impose President’s Rule to save Punjab from total ruin.”
