Rohtak (The Uttam Hindu): Gurmeet Singh, who is serving time for the sexual exploitation of a sadhvi and the murder of journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati, has completed his 40-day parole period. Following the completion of the stipulated time, he arrived at Sunaria Jail on Sunday evening under tight security.
In 2017, a special CBI court in Panchkula convicted Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Singh in the rape cases of two sadhvis and sentenced him to 20 years in prison. He was also sentenced to life imprisonment in the journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati murder case.
