‘Rangla Punjab Fund’ for Flood-Affected Areas Receiving Overwhelming Support

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): For the rehabilitation and relief work in Punjab’s flood-affected areas, people are contributing generously to the Chief Minister’s Rangla Punjab Fund.


In this regard, a delegation of the SBI Officers’ Association and SBI Staff Association met Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. During the meeting, the SBI Officers’ Association and SBI Staff Association presented a cheque of ₹1.55 crore to the Chief Minister for the Rangla Punjab Fund.


Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager (SBI); Manmeet Singh Chhabra, General Manager (SBI); Kajal Bhaumik, Deputy General Manager (HR, SBI); Rajeev Sarhindi, President; Priyavrat, General Secretary of the SBI Officers’ Association, Chandigarh Circle; and Kaushal from the SBI Staff Association were present on the occasion. They appreciated the efforts of the Punjab Government for the rehabilitation of flood-affected people.


On this occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat expressed heartfelt gratitude to the SBI Officers’ Association and SBI Staff Association for coming forward to support the state government during this time of need.
