Best has also written these stories in his autobiography which surprises people. Best has written in his autobiography 'Mind the Windows My Story' that during his time playing cricket, he had relationships with many girls in many countries. In the autobiography, Best claimed that he had physical relations with 500 to 650 women during his cricket career.

He called himself a 'playboy' and said that all this started after his breakup with his first love Melissa. This revelation created a lot of controversy even outside the cricket and sports world. Not only this, he claimed that he had relationships with more than 40 women during the Australia tour. He said that he performed better in bed than on the cricket field.

He said, "Girls like me and I like them too. I feel that I am the best looking bald man in the world. Wherever I went as a cricketer, I dated girls and spent the night with them. I think during this time I had relationships with about 500 to 650 girls."
