Seven days after marriage, bride calls her lover; shocking incident unfolds at night

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) - A horrifying incident has come to light in Basti district of Uttar Pradesh, where just seven days after marriage, the newlywed bride conspired with her lover to murder her husband. This heinous crime, which took place in Bedipur village of Parasrampur police station area, has created a sensation in the area. Police have arrested the accused wife, her lover, and a juvenile involved in the murder. The 315-bore pistol and bike used in the crime have also been recovered.

There was a love affair before marriage, dispute increased after marriage

SP Abhinandan told in a press conference at the police line that Anees (27), a resident of Bedipur, was married to Ruksana, a resident of Baiyanmwa in Gonda district on November 13. Investigation revealed that Ruksana's maternal home is in Mahuadabar village in Gaur area of Basti and before marriage, she was in a love affair with Rinku Kannaujiya, who lived there. Both wanted to get married, but the family members arranged Ruksana's marriage with Anees. Since the marriage, there were constant fights between Ruksana and Anees, due to which Rinku and Ruksana together hatched a plan to eliminate Anees.

The lover bought a pistol from Bihar and hatched a conspiracy to murder.

According to the police, Rinku bought a 315 bore pistol from Bihar for the murder. On November 19, Ruksana went to her parents' house from her in-laws' house on some pretext, so that Rinku and the minor accompanying her could carry out the crime. On November 20, both of them reached Bedipur on a bike and at night, on the pretext of asking Anees for directions, took him about 150 meters away from the house and shot him on the temple. On hearing the gunshot, the villagers ran towards the spot, but the attackers had fled.

Anees, who worked for a private company in Mumbai, was walking near his home that night. He was taken to Shri Ram Hospital in Ayodhya in critical condition, but doctors declared him dead. A murder case was registered against unknown

persons immediately after the incident. When the investigation confirmed a love affair and conspiracy, the police raided the house and arrested Rinku, Ruksana, and the juvenile.
