Now Even Robots Can Become Mothers – World’s First Pregnancy Robot Unveiled

New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): In a groundbreaking claim, a Chinese robotics company, Kaiva Technology, has announced that it is developing the world’s first pregnancy robot that can conceive and deliver a real baby like a human woman.

According to Zhang Qifeng, CEO of Kaiva Technology, the robot will be equipped with an artificial womb, enabling it to carry a pregnancy for up to 10 months before delivering a child. The artificial womb will provide essential nutrients to the fetus, simulating a natural pregnancy.

The company has stated that the robot is expected to be launched next year at a price of around 100,000 yuan (₹11.6 lakh). If successful, this innovation could revolutionize reproductive technology and raise global ethical and scientific debates.
